Playreading & Analysis -served as interim instructor for three weeks; lectures on Michael Healey’s The Drawer Boy, character analysis, and theatricality in the playscript vs. production; served as marker for course instructor
Acting Fundamentals -served as interim instructor for three weeks, focus on monologue work from initial choosing through workshop to performance included grading of monologue performance and written work
Scene Study -assisted with warm-ups including leading Authentic Movement, monologue and scene work in an advanced acting class; work-shopped monologues and scenes; choose and assigned scenes based on student need and development
Canadian Plays in Development -served as script assistant to creation work with Linda Griffiths in response to a collective creation based on her new work Games to be Played with Caution; served as script assistant and reader in development of Meg Braem’s new work Exia; chose and assigned readings to partner with classroom and studio exploratory work; administrative assistance as required; organized, publicized and assisted in public staged readings of new works
Academic Marker – graded a variety of academic theatre classes: History and Development of Theatre I and II, Canadian Theatre, Playreading & Analysis, and Theories of Theatre
Southern Alberta Vocal Experience (S.A.V.E) 2010 – Movement, Acting & Assistant Directing -assisted with movement class including a choreographed movement piece, taught scene work unit to singers; directed and assistant directed pieces as assigned including Sondheim and Operatic work; created opportunity for student driven work through a showcase cabaret
St. Michael’s University School Youth Opera Summer Program - Assistant Director & Acting Coach (Upcoming) -workshop and instruct a variety of classes on acting and staging techniques; serve as Assistant Director and Acting Coach on production of The Magic Flute focusing on dialogue and scene work
